Hey Sweeties! This is a recap post of my 3 days 2 night stay at Cameron Highlands this year. Also just incase if you are lazy to read or go through those individual blog post. Or if you are lazy to read this post, there is a video on my Youtube channel, you can watch that too hehe. Links are all below incase you want more extra information and more photos of the places ♥️
Thanks for always staying by my blog even though I don't write much. Hope this post can help you on some place that you would like to visit when you are in Cameron Highlands.
It's a more free and easy trip this time. Thank god the jam was not that bad as the previous time we have been here. Great mini holiday this time ♥️

Arrived and check-in at Century Pines Resort Cameron Highlands
We are back here again since 2018. The last time Chee Loong did the booking and planning. This time I did all. The difference between when we newly started dating and now 😂
This time we said we must make full use of the room and take lot's of photos. Haha. I book through Kayak app as after doing a bit of research, it was the one with amazing deals LOL. This is not a sponsored post btw, 100% paid for everything. Just incase you guys wonder how we book / what platform we used to booked, yea.. Kayak and to Trip.com. It was the cheapest on the list at that time.
We planned to go to BOH Tea Centre but they close at 4.30pm and we reached the resort about 4pm.
Then we also planned to go Pasar Malam Cameron Highlands to grab dinner. But then realised the Pasar Malam only opens on Friday and Saturday. LOL. So that means the last 2 times that I have been here at Cameron it was either on a Friday or Saturday that we took for granted 😂
So we ended up taking some rest and walk out for dinner near by. There is a whole row of shops, restaurants, cafe, convenient stores opposite Century Pines.
Dinner at Scott's Cafe.
Food was surprisingly good! We even took away 3 slices of cakes LOL

Breakfast @ Century Pines Resort
Head off to Cameron Highlands Flora Park. This place is new since my last visit here to Cameron last 2019. Arrived at 9.10am cause my friend told me to be there at 9am if want't no crowd. But we lost the way for 10 minutes cause we didn't know where to enter and park our car. LOL. They open 9.30am sharp and start to let us in the 4x4. Yup, you need to take a 4x4 up there. Entrance fees is RM50 per person. I think its okay and quite worth it lah if you are going with a mind of taking pretty photos and looking at pretty flowers. Beautiful place like this in Malaysia 🌸💜

Some are literally bigger than me. We manage to have a chance to feed them and they all ate so fast. Lol. Are you guys that hungry?

Dinner @ Barracks Café
Was honestly super excited for this one but it lead to the biggest disappointment this time. The first time we were here in 2018, food was good, environment was a +1. They had mushroom soup in their homemade bread bowl. But this time it's not on the menu and when we asked for that, the waiter said no such thing and it won't go well with the bread bowl. They only have bread bowl with curry 🤔
We literally ate it back in 2018 and I have the picture at my blogpost / instagram too lol, came back in 2019 Barracks Cafe was close due to shortage of manpower. and now 2022, they don't have it anymore 🥲
So we just ordered the curry with the bread bowl, charcoal burger, mushroom soup, chicken wings and a hot chocolate.
Their burger meat was 90% burnt all over that we can't even eat and had to send it back. Waiter said it was the spices they use that it was burnt? 🤷🏻♀️ naniiii??? the whole patty was literally burnt and tasted really bitter woiii. wahh at this point my whole disappointment grew stronger. Maybe thats why they named it "charcoal burger" not the bun charcoal but the patty 🌚 Chicken wings literally tasted like flour. Hot chocolate presentation was a fail too. The whipping cream all dripped out from the cup I literally took my tissue to clean up the mess but you can still see the stain on the cup in the photo lah LOL. After some complains, they took off the burger from our bill so we just paid for the other stuffs we that we so called ate. Almost RM100 but honestly so disappointing that I don't wanna go back there again any more in future 😭
(CL's sarcastic-ness ohmaigwadd LOL)
After dinner, headed back to our resort and ate Mamee Lontong cup noodles 😂

Breakfast @ Century Pines Resort
Breakfast from the top 🏔
Having my fav scrambled eggs and orange juice while enjoying the view and the resort is the best thing ever.
Supposed to go to Cameron Lavender Garden and BOH Tea Centre but ended up not going cause it was an hour jam from Century Pines. Chee Loong had work the next day so I don't want to get back to KL too late. Why jam? Cause it's school holiday lah 🤦🏻♀️
In 2018 we came was public holiday = jam
In 2019 we came was weekend = jam
We kept telling each other that no more PH and weekends when we come back here.
Now 2022 CL choose these dates to take off and we didn't check the (school) calendar. Thought its weekdays and no PH can liao. Mana tau on the morning of the day we was supposed to departing itself my mom was like "why choose to go on school holidays?" wahhhh I stunned for 5 seconds 😐😅 panic but it was too late liao LOL
We ended up checking-out and leaving Cameron after having a little walk around the resort after breakfast. Haha honestly didn't do much this time but it was a great relieve for a short mini holiday. Will be back again in November (Chee Loong's family trip) I guess, if everything goes well and no cancellation.
When you wanna travel but weak and can't take the winding road 😅
