에버랜드 Everland Theme Park, The Magic World of Adventures

Everland is South Korea's largest theme park. Along with its main attractions beside the Theme Park, Everland includes a Zoo and a Water Park known as Caribbean Bay. Allot of Koream variety shows and drama had been filmed here too!

Today's post will be about The Everland Theme Park !

Free admission to Hoam Gallery for the day and extra charges for coin-operated rides, rental, animal rides, and special exhibitions.

Do remember to take a guide to guide you through out your day at Everland. The guides are really helpful to lead you to the rides, food, washrooms and also most of all where you are and know your way around.

Below are basically what I did for the whole day.

Starting from the Global Fair Land.

K-pop Hologram

What is K-POP HOLOGRAM ?

Oriental Restaurant

Oriental Restaurant is one of the largest restaurants of the Global Fair! It was built in the theme of Modern Transition period of architecture. A restaurant for you to dine in incase you are hungry when you just entered.

Pororo 3D Adventure

An exciting space trip with Pororo and his friends !

Pororo 3D Adventure Season2 with Pororo’s exciting travel to the outer space! 

Pororo and his friends go to the space in a spacecraft invented by Eddie. Whoops ! and Krong gets lost in the space. Kids are the ones who can reunite Krong, Prororo, and his friends ! More on an adventure in search for Krong !

Kizcovery

Everland Presents a New Facility for Children Whose Height is below 125cm, and I obviously didn't enter here. Anyway, Kizcovery Children are invited to climb and jump at eight zones with different animal and nature themes. This experience-type playground offers parents with a luxurious cup of tea and fun and exciting experiences to children.

Double Rock Spin

The powerful spin and rhythm of this ride is sure to provide exhilarating thrills ! Enjoy the thrill of the ride that executes 4 consecutive full spins at a height of 20 meters. Spin count and intensity vary depending on the number of riders! Kids must be taller than 140cm to enter. I din't try this because the spinning already looks crazy enough for me to throw out everything 😕

Let’s Twist

Experience of twists in all directions with great music to relieve your stress by shouting at the top of your lungs while riding on the thrilling and twist-filled attraction. To enter, your height must be 140cm -195cm. But unfortunately this ride was close that day, so we didn't try it.

Sky Cruise

A travel from American Adventure to European Adventure.

T Express

T Express is a wooden roller coaster. It is South Korea's first wooden coaster and also rated as the highest, fastest, longest, steepest roller coaster here !

Lined up for an hour just for a 3 minutes ride 😅

This was my very first roller coaster ride in 20 years of my life and I swear that it was damn scary ! The minute when the roller coaster drops you butt can literally fly up from your seat. Maigawdd ! That time I really thought that whether am I gonna survive or not ? Like what if I fly out from the chair ? 😱 LOLOL

But I would admit that it was a great experience even though I probably might not go back on it again. LOL. But I recommend you to try it at least once, just to get the experience of it and also because this is one of the main rides in Everland. If you had watch Running Man ep211, I have no idea how Jae Suk and Sung Jae 선배님 can ride this for like 3 times. Salute man !! WGM Cao Lu and Seho 선배님 came here in episode 316. Jota&Jinkyung 선배님 and LeGeon&Haena 선배님 sat this too on WGM.

Alpine Food Fair

Difficult to decide what to eat ? The Alpine Food Fair serves 30 different kinds of menus that can be favored by people of all ages. Stopped by here to fill out stomach for lunch. Yes, after the dollar coaster, we went for lunch. Probably the best decision so that you don't throw out after the ride.

Free flow of water and make sure to bring your trays back to the trays cabin after finishing your meal.

A Wild Safari, featuring lions, the kings of the grasslands, tigers, the kings of the jungle, and adorable bears offers visitors the rare opportunity to meet wide variety of animals at a close distance. Children under 4 years of age should board the safari vehicles with their parents or guardians.

Hop on to the bus and explore the safari world !

You can also see lots of pretty trees covered with frozen iced too, especially during winter season ❄️

This shop is built with a theme of traditional African shop. This special gift shop offers popular Everland character goods and various traditional crafts of Africa and safari world character products.

Sky Way

After that we went for the Sky Way. To bring us from European Adventure Land back to the American Adventure Land. This helps allot as you don't need to walk all the way up and you also get to see the view ! Jae Suk, Sung Jae and Kwon Ryeol 선배님 also seat this on Running Man ep211 to go up.

Back to the American Adventure land.

There is also KFC there if you want some fried chickens. In Running Man ep 211 Suk Jin and Eun Yi 선배님 seat down on one of the tables in front of KFC to choose their cards. But since it's winter, no one wants to eat in the cold outdoor, so all the tables and chairs were removed. LOL.

Rolling X-Train

Rolling X-Train is an exciting, super-fast roller coaster, with spiral oblique rotations resembling twisted breadsticks and two complete 360 degree loop-to-loop sections ! Enjoy an exhilarating rock 'n roll ride. Entrance for kids must be above 120cm.

Again the lining up for it, but this wasn't as bad as the T Express, the line here was faster.

My second dollar coaster in my life. Truthfully telling, this is not as scary as the T Express and it ended so quickly like in a minute. Again at Running Man ep 211, Gary and Ailee 선배님 seat this. But I still have no idea how they can sing throughout this ride and earned 90points for that when I can't even open my mouth to scream 🤐 LOLOL

After the Rolling X-Train we went to the Magic Land.

Racing Coaster

Enjoy a never-ending race on a roller coaster, between a fast-running rabbit named Hurkey and a slow-moving turtle named Timmy ! Kids must at least be taller than 100cm to enter. 

My third roller coaster of that day. Racing Coaster is not that scary as the T Express and Rolling X-Train. This is more for kids and big buffalos like me 😅

Popcorns Stall

Not a fan of them but because my niece wanted some popcorns and I decided to take this picture because the 기린 giraffe popcorn holder are just so cute.

Charactorium

A magical village inhabited by the superstar characters.

Lily Dance

When a mommy frog begins to sing a song for her baby frog, beautiful lotus flowers spin round and round. Spin the wheel inside the lotus flower. The faster you spin the wheel, the faster your speed will be. A person of 100cm or less must be accompanied by a guardian. 

I swear that this was the worst ride among all the rides that I went for that day. Yes and I am saying that those 3 roller coasters were much better than this. Eh ? I prefer the roller coaster ? Yes ! and in fact I rather seat for those again rather than this spinning cup. This made me so dizzy that I really felt so horrible after that. LOLOL. Luckily didn't seat for this in the being of the day or everything will be ruined 😲

Eye on Everland

Go on the Eye on Everland to observe the top view of the whole Everland !

Bumper Car

As the forefather of all attractions, Bumper Car has long been beloved by people of all works of life. No license ? No problem ! Enjoy a thrilling drive and make your stress disappear ! Children must be taller than 120cm to enter.

The bumper cars that Jota&Jinkyung 선배님 and LeGeon&Haena 선배님 sat on WGM.

If you are lazy and also tired of walking the whole day, you can also use their walkalator to bring you up besides the Sky Cruise and Sky Way.

LINE Friends Store

Meet various LINE character's goods and merchandise !

You can literally spend one whole day at Everland and is still not enough. We came in like 10.00am in the morning, played until the sky turned dark and yet there were still so many rides not covered. LOL. What ever you saw and read above are the things that I basically did. Things that I missed out and didn't wrote about are obviously things that I didn't cover. Probably hope to come back here next time again maybe during summer for the Caribbean Bay. Oh Cabi Cabi ~

Was really lucky that day, you know why ?

Because it snowed !

YESS ! SNOW !! ❄️

My first time seeing, feeling and experiencing real snow in my life. 첫눈 !

The sudden snow that night actually made the whole tiring day so much better. Tiredness from the whole day had gone away after seeing, feeling and playing with the snow. So excited. LOL. You can't really blame me for that cause Malaysia has no snow. Not even a 1% chance of getting snow falling from the sky in Malaysia. Rain got lah..

But in the picture, it kinda looks like raining. But they are actually SNOW ! ❄️

They are colourful lightbulbs that you can write your mini wishes and put into them.

Braving the cold during winter at a theme park ?

There are actually heater poles at every street. You can go and stand under them for awhile to get warm. There are also heater rooms to keep you warm while taking a short rest.

Everland Amenities

Stroller Rental

The baby and kids service here at Everland is just so great. You can rent stroller with shades for the little ones under 24 months old.

Rental of stroller can be done when you first come in the entrance at the customer service center (on the right side of the main gate).

First come, first served basis

Single Strollers : ₩5,000 (deposit ₩1,000, 16kg or less)

Double Strollers : ₩10,000 (deposit ₩4,000, a total of 24kg or less)

Locking Device : ₩3,000 (deposit ₩2,000)

Wheelchair and Electric Wheelchair Rentals

You can also rent them at the customer service center (on the right side of the main gate).

First come, first served basis and handicapped persons who have difficulty in walking will receive preferential treatment. Storing of identification cards required in the case of rentals.

Regular : ₩3,000 (free on the presentation of the registration card for the disabled)

Electric : ₩10,000 (₩5,000 on the presentation of the registration card for the disabled)

Locker

Small : ₩1,000 / Large : ₩2,000

(Only 500 Won coins can be used)

How to get to 에버랜드 Everland by public transports ?

Public Bus No.5700

Gangbyeog Station → Jamsil Station → Songpa Station → Suseo Station

60 - 80 Minutes

₩ 2,100 (one way)

Public Bus No. 5002

Sinnonhyeon Station → Gangnam Station → Yangjae Station

40 - 50 Minutes

₩ 2,100 (one way)

In Public Bus No.5700 and No.5002 get down at the "에버랜드" "Everland" Stop.

After that hop on to the Everland Shuttle Bus (free of charge) and that bus will bring you to the main entrance of Everland.

Metropoilitan Subway

Transfer to Yongin Ever Line at Giheung Station on Bundang Line.

It takes about 30 minutes from Giheung Station to Jeondae Everland Station (last stop) on Yongin Ever Line.

You can take the Everland Shuttle bus (free of charge) from Yongin Ever Line and go to Everland or Caribbean Bay.
