Homemade Almond Cookies Recipe


Freshly baked Almond Cookies for Chinese New Year !

Here is what you will need ..
The amount of ingredients given below is for 1 recipe. 
However, pictures of ingredients may look way more because we did in a larger quantity like 3 recipes.

Rice Flour - 120gm / Plain Flour - 170gm / Ground Almond - 120gm

Icing Sugar - 90gm

Butter - 250gm

Egg Yolk - 1

Slice Almond - 1gm

The Dough.
1) Sifted together Rice Flour, Plain Flour and Ground Almond.

2) Add Butter to the sifted ingredient and use Rub In Method to mix them.

3) Add in the Egg Yolk.

Your Dough is Done !

Let's get started with the Pastries !

4) Shape cutters.
Roll your dough and flatten it according to your own thickness. Then use your mole shapes to cut them out.
How thick you want the cookies to be. Its up to you.

5) Slice Almond for Decorations.

6) Brush some Egg Yolk on.
So that your cookie don't look so pale.

7) Into the over at 160 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

8) Out of the oven ! Let it to cool.

9) Packing into the containers.

Your Almond Cookies are Done !
