Before you scroll or read further, just to let you know this post will be on my grandfather [YehYeh].

If you are "pantang" / "taboo" you can actually stop where you are and skip this post.

I was actually hesitating whether I should blog about it but in the end I decided to do it.

Really miss YehYeh very much and din't expected him to go that fast.

Today's topic will be on YehYeh's Passing.

Anyway, I will still restrain the privacy of the pictures and will only review what I think I can reveal.

YehYeh is 91 years old this year and was still very strong. He still can walk without any aid and even drive the car. No symptoms of him complaining that he is in pain or suffering. Even though YehYeh has heart problems which is more serious then the sickness MaMa is facing. The reason why I said didn't expected YehYeh to go that fast was because he still look strong util his very last breath. Just like within a blink of an eye this happen.

The Last Meal that I had with YehYeh was on the 1 June 2014.

3 June 2014 night, YehYeh's legs just weaken and he slowly collapse onto the floor. That was when he became unconscious and was immediately send to the hospital. Found out he got a mile stroke with that. For that few days in hospital, YehYeh couldn't open his eyes, but he could move his hands and legs and hear whatever you tell him. But somehow things all just stopped after that few days.

YehYeh was admitted in hospital at from 4-8 June 2014.

YehYeh's 91th Birthday was on 7 June 2014.

YehYeh left to the other world on the 8 June 2014 which was a day after his birthday.

It's like YehYeh waited for his birthday to passed before he left.

It was also said that YehYeh had good karma that's why he went without any sufferings.

YehYeh's Funeral was held at Gui Yuan Funeral Parlour from the 8-10 June 2014.

8&9 June 2014 Prayers being said + Transfer Merits for YehYeh.

10 June 2014, The day to leave off for the Cremation Process.

It had been really hot and sunny the whole day on the 8&9 June 2014. There was no drop of rain at all.

On the 10 June it was sunny at first, but when the time all of us went round YehYeh to give him our last respect the sky became dark. The minute the first sound of the nail hammered into the coffin the rain stared to pour. It was abit creepy at first. But after realizing it, it was actually time for YehYeh to go. Maybe that's why it rain. So we walk in the rain with umbrellas following behind the car to the cremation hall. After a while, the weather became really sunny back again.

Hope YehYeh really went off peacefully.

After the cremation process, we treat all the relatives for lunch.

Lunch at Dragon Star Restaurant which was just down the road.

The Restaurant that YehYeh celebrated his 90th Birthday last year. Read here if you had missed it.

Exactly 1 year we are back here again. Same but with different kind of feeling though.

During YehYeh's 90th Birthday we had only 6 tables because those overseas could not come. Now we had 7 tables and yet there were still relatives weren't there. Wow! YehYeh and MaMa's relatives are huge!

11 June 2014, Off with 6 cars to Klang River to put YehYeh's ashes into the sea.

In the boat. Practically own the whole boat as it was just us.

It was YehYeh's wish to be cremated and put into the sea. So we fulfil his wishes.

It really kept me thinking when on the way back after putting the ashes.

I must seriously stay strong and not cry in order for YehYeh to not feel sad and also MaMa.

MaMa will be feeling very lonely now as YehYeh was always there with her for the pass 70 years.

This year, 14 March 2014 was YehYeh and MaMa 's 70th Wedding Anniversary.

It was really hard to see MaMa going near YehYeh and talking to him.

But one thing, YehYeh's face really looks very peaceful. I guess that's a good thing.

MaMa, you must stay strong !

Don't worry, I will be starting my college soon next month. So, I will be shifting in to stay in with you.

YehYeh, an Ex-Civil Servant who served the government of his days with distinction, and awarded the PCK by the Kedah State Government & AMN by the Federal Government. For his bravery during World War II, he was also honoured by the then British Government the GSM Medal of recognition and he served in the Civil Defence Corp after the war.

[You may be wondering why in the news paper it says 95. YehYeh is 91. Chinese age 92. When you pass away +3, 1 for heaven, 1 for earth and 1 for himself ... So equals to 95]

Sad that you are not here anymore but happy to know that you are in a better place and not suffering in pain. You had never been hard on me and always give in whatever I want. Practically spoiling me so much. Thank you so much for loving, supporting, advising, taking care and guiding me throughout 18 years of my life.
