Aquaria @ KLCC

Let's go underwater ! LOL. Just kidding.
Have you been to an Aquaria before ?
A place full of fishes and under the sea creatures. Not at a underwater sea but at an indoor place.
13 April 2012, Friday - After School, about 12.45pm we School Interactors left with the bus to Aquaria @ KLCC. Reached there about 1.15pm. We were given time from then until 2.00pm to grab our lunch before entering Aquaria. Majority of us ate MacDonald's and Subway as it was the easiest and the fastest. This trip was actually organise by the Interact Club of SMK Seri Saujana.
And I am here at KLCC again. First for photoshoot, second for SNSD and now for Aquaria. Hahha.

The main purpose we went there is to 'menambahkan ilmu pengetahuan', to see the different types of fishes and also to explore the aquatics. But after we went in, I realize that there were not only fishes there but there were also many underwater creatures.

At the Rocky Shore Touch Pool Here, visitors are encouraged to grab the rare opportunity to observe, touch and feel our exotic exhibits such as the Sea Cucumber, Chocolate Chip Sea Star, Box Crab, Horseshoe Crab and our gentle Bamboo Shark. The sea cucumber is so soft ! The starfish feel so rough like biscuit. But unfortunately, I din't dare touch the bamboo shark.

*Spoiler* - just a few pictures ..

The Electric Zone Observe one of nature's more intriguing forms of evolution, where animals defend themselves by discharging electricity. Our amazing electric exhibits include the Electric Eel, Electric Catfish and the Elephant-Nose fish.

Eletric Eel

Deep Forest As you walk down the steps, you will be greeted by a radiant glow, reflected from thousands of silvered scales swirling within our tube tank. Highlights in these waters include the giant catfish and the Arapaima from the Amazon.

Saw Fish

The Stream Jungle streams, with its sandy floor and flattened rocks, are home to land and aquatic animals such as freshwater Alligator-Snapping Turtles and the Asian Small-Clawed Otters.

 Memo

The Coast Where the river meets the sea, mangroves support a wealth of life and serve as a nursery ground for fish. The coast and its adjacent areas are an important part of a local ecosystem. The mixture of fresh water and salt water in estuaries provides many nutrients for marine life.

Some random fishes that I forgot their names.
